Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a life and dating coach, the owner of NY Dating Coach, here in New York City. In this clip we'll talk about how to date someone in the military, and the best thing you can do for them is to really be supportive. You should be proud of them, that they're supporting our country, so the best thing you can do is be really supportive to them. So, especially if they're deployed somewhere. So, you can talk on the phone as frequently as you can. Try not to give him added stress or pressure. He doesn't need to know about all the little everyday things that are going wrong here, especially he's in a war zone. He needs that touch of home when he talks to you, he needs to feel love and compassion and warmth and get recharged by talking to you. So, be positive when you talk to him, and be that for him. If you're having problems with things that you need to talk about, talk to someone else about it, don't put that burden on him while he's away. And if he's at home, just continue that support. It's definitely helping to support our country. This is Donna Barnes, from New York City."
