Video Transcript

"Hi I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a Life and Dating Coach, the owner of NY Dating Coach here in New York City. In this clip we will talk about how to get to know somebody and you have to be willing to give as much as you want to receive so if you are really looking to find out about somebody yes you can ask them questions but make sure that it is not an interview, interrogation kind of situation but by offering up information about yourself people feel a little more comfortable than to reveal things about them so take it on a slow pace, don't jump in too quickly and trust has to be earned but you know really ask questions. I think people really are afraid to say hey what's this and what's that and you know because the other person's relationship past doesn't really have anything to do with your current relationship so hit highlights on that and the rest you don't need to know about but find out you know, where they went to school and ask them what was that like for you questions and you'll get a sense of who they are as a human being instead of just what they did which is always more interesting. It will help you make a decision about if this person is right for you in the long term. This is Donna Barnes from New York City."
