"Hi. I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com and I'm going to talk about how to give a great presentation. One of the keys to giving a really engaging and interesting presentation is to be comfortable yourself. So know your subject matter as well as you possibly can. Practice giving a speech so you feel comfortable when you actually stand up to do it. Now another important component of a great presentation is some visual material that will add to your presentation. Maybe make the information more understandable and accessible or maybe just make it really interesting to look at so that people have something that really interest them and engages them. Sometimes sitting and listening can be a little bit boring for people especially if they're very visual. So any kind of visual you can bring in that helps further your topic is really helpful. Also really connecting with people on a more personal basis. Having people introduce themselves maybe share a little bit about why they're there at the presentation, if possible, if your time permits. The more you can let people be involved and also serve opening the dialog up a little bit with the participants makes it a more interesting and friendly experience for them. So think of ways that you can personalize it. If you have time constraints that don't permit this, think of ways that you can share something of yourself that will help to connect to the audience. And then lastly, look really professional. Dress really appropriately. It really does make an impact on your audience. Your appearance and your, what you're wearing and how you choose to present yourself might end up influencing people and their perceptions of you. So give some thought to what you're going to be comfortable in, yet also to look professional and polished. And if you keep those points in mind, you should make a really great presentation."
