How to Obtain Your Credit Score

"This is financial adviser Patrick Munro, talking about how to obtain your credit score. Credit score is very important to Americans, and many people don't even know where to get it. The main thing to do, is to contact the three major credit reporting agencies, and here's their names, Experion, E-x-p-e-r-i-o-n, TransUnion, just like it sounds, and Equifax, E-q-u-i-f-a-x. You can go online, and receive their written information and instructions, in order to send a letter to them. That's the only way that you can contact these credit bureaus, and request a copy of your credit report. Once you receive a copy of your credit report, you can examine it for any problems or extraneous differences, and then write a letter back to the credit reporting agency, and correct any of those particular mistakes, that will be there.
