"This is financial adviser, Patrick Munro, talking about how to fix credit history. Credit history is something that is very important to every American consumer. And your credit history should be a good one. It's within your control to keep it good. And as a result, it's important to be frugal in your gailings, keep your expenses down, try to save as much as possible, also, of course, make sure that you pay your credit cards if you have any on time as well as your installment debt, car loans, your rent, even your insurance payment, it is all monitored now by companies. Make sure you're never late. Try to establish a budget and a specific time of the week to sit down with your bills and make sure that they're managed. Therefore you're managing your life, and then be rewarded with a good credit history. And you can always fix that credit history if you are on top of the management of your affairs, by writing letters to the various credit reporting agencies, and in this way you can adjust things as you go forward. This is Patrick Munro talking about how to fix a credit history."
