Male vs. Female Puppies

"What is the difference between a male and a female puppy. It's pretty obvious. Male puppies have a very clear penis that actually travels from in between their legs along their belly. It's very easy to see. Females have a much smaller vulva area that's just between their legs so it's very obvious. Male puppies and female puppies will both squat to urinate initially so there won't be any difference there. Sometimes male dogs are even neutered at a point before they start lifting their leg to marking and they may go many years without lifting their leg to mark. So temperament wise it really depends on the individual dog, male puppies can be a little bit more territorial but female puppies can too. So try to put that out of your mind and deal with the individual dog that you have. Certainly some people prefer male to female dogs in the relationship that they believe they have with those. So that's up to individual and personal preference."
