"So how about puppy names in the new millennium. Well try to keep your dog's name simple, something that you can remember easily and it seems to apply to the dog, because initially you want to be extremely consistent around food times and calling your dog so that your dog gets to know their name. Some people seem to think that naming the dog with an e sound like fluffy, or ruffy or some kind of name like that is easier for a dog to understand. I would say just something short that's easy again for you to say and to remember. And if you are anything like me very quickly your dog will accumulate several nicknames and you'll be calling your dog everything under the sun. But again once they know their basic name that shouldn't be as big of an issue. For example this is Posey and she goes by the name Wee Tiny Poe and Po Po and every other possible variation of that that you can consider. But Posey has been a very effective and good name for her in the new Millennium. Some suggestion for names, really names that stand the test of time. So anything you are comfortable saying and calling your dog in public would be reasonable in the previous Millennium, or in this one or in ones to come. You can use spices, basil, cinnamon, nutmeg are examples. I looked at place names on maps and named the dog rugby and Willoughby, so just, you can look at baby name books, dog name books and look on the internet for different suggestions. You can name them names that appeal to your heritage or your nation of origin of your family or something like that. So have fun with it and come up with something really unique and special for your dog that's easy to remember and easy to say."
