So how do we find a short sell for a stock? Well, short selling is a technique for selling a stock shorter -- selling a stock before you've purchased it. And presumably, if you're asking, "How do I find a short sell for a stock?" you're looking for a stock that you think will go down in value and that's really going to get down to research and to news. Do you... You may know of a company that's been in the news recently or you've had some research on that shows that it's going to go down in value significantly. The hazards in short selling are the stock doesn't go down enough for you to make a profit minus your online or face-to-face broker's costs for the fees for the trade. Also, the stock may not go down. It may go up. So that could...that could backfire. The best thing to do, though, is to really track a stock for a long time, have a good history with it -- really know what's happening -- and if you do know that the stock is going to go down to the best of your abilities, then you can perform a short sell. And best of luck with it.
