"Hi, I'm David Trachtenberg of Toyota of Tampa Bay, and I'm here to give you a brief explanation of what the Toyota Camry Hybrid tax credit is all about. In or around 2005, the IRS passed some tax code that gave an incentive for the consumer to purchase a hybrid vehicle. The incentive was by car manufacturer, and there was a forty thousand vehicle qualifier for phase out of the tax credit based on the IRS tax code. Toyota hit the forty thousand vehicle limit, and over the course of the next eighteen months, those tax credits phased out. So, at this moment in time, in 2008, there are no tax credits available on the Toyota Camry Hybrid, however, the good news is, is that where the vehicle was premium priced in 2007 and early 2008, supply is finally starting to catch up with the overwhelming demand for the vehicle, and premium pricing on the vehicle really no longer holds true. The vehicle sells for a reasonable price for an exceptional vehicle. I'm David Trachtenberg, Toyota of Tampa Bay. Thank you very much for listening to the explanation about the IRS tax credit for hybrid vehicles."
