Hi, I'm Rebecca Guenther with www.m5a1photography.com and I'm going to talk to you about some photography lighting techniques. When it comes to lighting in photography, there are so many different ways that you can this. You can do it with what's called hot lights which are lights that get hot unsurprisingly because they stay on and they burn very, very bright and this is good for you know food photography or for architectural photography anything that's you know going to be still that you can usually use a slower shutter speed because it's not as much light as strobe would produce. A strobe could be used in a lot of incidences. It could be used in combination with the hot lights for example, in food photography. That's done quite often. It could be used in architectural photography. Although I don't think that I personally would recommend that but you know you could try what you know what you think might work for you. It's definitely very recommended to use it for portraiture photography or any kind of fashion. Usually, when people are involved, you need to have the shutters speed as fast as you can. Even if they're perfectly still they're still moving a little bit and the strobes will help you get enough light and you know prevent any blur from happening and there's also daylight which can be any number of things can be done with that. You can shoot in the shade of a tree and or with light coming through leaves or with direct sunlight or hold up a shower curtain or a piece of cloth and have the light coming through to soften it. You can use a bounce to reflect it. There's really a lot of things you can do with that. It really just comes down to experimenting with different kinds of light maybe combining them learning the different color temperatures that different lights have and finding what's going to work best for you and your needs and those are some photography lighting techniques.
