"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm here to talk to you about relaxing a child's hair. I don't really recommend relaxing a child's hair who's under puberty. Because once they hit puberty age they tend to, they have more hormones going on in their body. Their hair's going to change. I'm sure you've seen a lot of kids who have really curly hair when they were little and then as they age it starts to straighten out. So really I don't recommend relaxing it until they've hit puberty age. And once they do hit puberty then you can start relaxing their hair on a fairly regular basis but you're going to want to use a relaxer that's made specifically for children. They've got them out there. They're a lot gentler because a child's hair not as course, usually it's a lot finer and silkier. And that also goes with coloring and perming as well. Whenever you start adding more services and more more options to a child's hair then you're also looking at a lot more maintenance. So children also technically do not always take care of their hair the best. And whenever you relax hair it does have curtain needs that you've that you've got to meet. You need to use a good quality shampoo, a good quality conditioner. So just be sure that you really think about relaxing your child's hair before you actually do it because it can really affect their life style greatly."
