"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm here to talk to you about styling thinning hair. When choosing a style for your hair if your hair's thinning, you're really going to want some volume through the top. You want to lift that hair off the scalp. You can also consider getting a body wave to help you do this because sometimes, with the thinning hair, the hair just doesn't really want to hold a lot of style. You're going to want to make sure that you use a volumizing product. Also, the hairstyle, you're going to want it to be fairly blunt. You don't want a lot of layering because a lot of layering's going to look choppy and your hair's just going to start to hang. Plus, it's going to be a lot more hair for you. Another thing that you can do is you can use a curling iron. But whatever you're going to want to do, you're going to want to make sure that you're getting that hair off the scalp, 'cause anytime, it's really just flat and hanging, it's going to accentuate how thin it is. Using a protein based shampoo and conditioner is going to help plump up that hair. You're also going to want to use maybe a volumizing shampoo conditioner as well. You can switch them off so you can you know, use them both. And by curling the hair, it's going to keep it off the scalp, giving you a little bit more volume. When using the curling iron, or any of the heat tools, you're going to want to make sure that you do use a a thermal protection product, you can find that in your volumizing products. A lot of them have thermal protectants in it. Also, this particular curling iron has got a temperature control, and that's a really good tool to use when you do have fine, thin hair 'cause you're not going to want to use a really hot, hot iron. You can burn the hair, and singed hair definitely doesn't smell good. You'll know when it happens. So also just make sure that you're really kind of styling that hair and get it off the scalp, and getting a lot of volume into it. You can tease it a little bit, but just remember that you're not going to want to do a whole lot 'cause it is in a weakened state, and those are some techniques on styling thinning hair."
