Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm here to talk about vitamin E and breakage. Breakage can be caused from chemical or mechanical processes and what I mean by mechanical is like the flat iron or the curling iron. And what you'll; what most, where most people notice breakage is around the hairline. And that's pretty natural. A lot of that comes from just constantly pulling the hair back and the constant use of harsher chemicals on your skin. Now really what causes, what stops breakage is going to be protein. Also you can look into some of the shampoos and conditioners that specifically talk about breakage defense. Like Pantene just came out with a breakage defense shampoo and conditioner. They're going to more protein based. Hair is made up of protein, carotene. And so what's going to strengthen that hair is protein and in order to stop the breakage you need that hair to be strong. Now vitamin E will help with scalp circulation but that's taken internally. So anything that you rub on your scalp that says it's going to stop breakage or help hair grow, unless it's minoxidil it's really not going to work. And vitamin E is really going to be more for helping the circulation of the scalp which will feed the follicles which will help the hair grow. So just make sure you're eating a healthy diet and taking proper care of your hair and the breakage will definitely get better.
