Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm going to talk to you about hair straighteners. Basically a hair straightener is, a non-chemical hair straightener, would be a flat iron, or you can also use the old fashion regular steam iron. When searching out your flat irons, you're going to want to make sure that you're taking into consideration what you're going to be using it for. Are you going to be using it on a daily basis, a weekly basis, is your hair course, thick, fine. Is it straight, and you're just trying to smooth it. So take those things into consideration. You're also going to want to make sure that your straightener has a ceramic plate. Some of them are completely ceramic. Those are a little bit more expensive, and then some are just coated with ceramic. You're also going to want to take into consideration, if you're going to be traveling with it. Here's a little tiny one that you can travel with. If you're going to be curling with it. This one has bent plates that you can actually curl a lot easier, because you can straighten and curl. This one would be great if you're trying to make sure that you're bending the ends of your hair under, or you're just wanting to, you know, not make it so pin straight, you want a little bit of bend to that hair. So anything that has a bent plate like this, is going to make it a little bit easier to curl with. So take into consideration what you're using it for, your hair type, and make sure that it's ceramic, ionic, maybe it can have tourmaline. So a lot of them have a lot of new, different types of technologies with the tourmaline, the silver, basically it does the same thing as the ceramic. And figure out your budget, and then go shopping for your hair straightener.
