"Good afternoon my name is Tom Brintzenhofe a Certified Master Mechanic from Reading, Pennsylvania and today we are going to talk about how to clear up fogged headlights. There are a lot of products out there. McGuire's makes a good one, it is a plastic cleaner. Interdynamics makes a couple of them. You have to see your products store in this area to know that products out there vary but for this purpose we have some McGuire's Plastic Cleaner. You put it on yourself with a nice dry rag and just rub it back and forth. You might have to work this for about 10 or 15 minutes back and forth to make sure you get all the little bug junk off and everything else. You don't want to use a rubbing compound, a heavy rubbing compound because it will scratch your headlight. Remember these things are only plastic. Once you get that all off there you need to go over it with water. I prefer to go over it with a bottle of Windex and just spray it down pretty good there and let it run for a minute. Just wipe it off. It is really not that difficult but that there is how you clean up fogged headlights."
