Video Transcript

"Good afternoon. My name is Tom Brintzenhofe, certified master mechanic out of Reading, Pennsylvania, and today we're going to talk about how to maintain your vehicle at a hundred thousand miles. Now, there really isn't much difference between maintaining your vehicle with fifty thousand miles, or a hundred thousand miles, or a hundred-fifty thousand miles. There's just a few more things you want to look at at those mileage intervals. Now the first thing you want to take, and keep in mind is your battery. If you hadn't had it replaced, relatively in the last year, have your battery tested to make sure it's it's up to capacity. You might want to think about changing your radiator fluid. At a hundred thousand miles, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have the your power steering fluid changed also. But in a hundred thousand miles, relatively, just make sure you have your your tires rotated at normal intervals. You might want to take a look at the brakes. Have the transmission fluids and filters changed. But relatively, it's it's pretty much the same as maintaining your vehicle up up through to your hundred thousand miles, and and well after every so many thousand, for every five thousand miles, you want to change your oil. Thirty thousand miles, change your transmission fluid, radiator, a the antifreeze. And look, like I said, about a hundred thousand miles, you might want to change the power steering fluid then thee odds and ends of your brake fluids and and stuff like that, but really isn't much difference."
