Hi, I'm Athena Reich. I'm an actress and musician and performance coach here in New York City and we're just blocks away right now from Time Square, the home of Broadway. In this clip I'm going to talk about, "How to get your Christian music published?" Well, a lot of Broadway stars and writers got their start in their local church. If you sing in your choir at church or you're song, or if you're a songwriter, what you could do is approach your choir director at your church with a song and ask if he or she can perform that song during the service. That can be a great way, you never know whose in the church and you never, it can be a great way to network. You never know who knows who and what might lead to what. So definitely start in your church and start networking there and, and see who knows who and get your songs perform at your church; perform the songs yourself in your church. There's also an unlimited amount of Christian resources. You just Google Christian music, Christian songwriters, you will find hundreds and thousands of pages. A few that came out for me are and here you can network with other artists and you can search other artists. And you can, if you're an artist yourself, you can get your lyrics up here. Another one is Christian Lyrics Online. Another resource, .com, and Christian Songwriter's Network is a really great place where you can showcase yourself as a lyricist. So it's really important to just get yourself out there. This has been Athena Reich on "How to get your Christian music lyrics published".
