"If you are a nurse or on your way to becoming a nurse or thinking about becoming a nurse there are certain jobs that you can do and certain options that you have out there for you. I'm Dan Carlson, I'm a nurse and this is about different licensed practical nurse jobs. For starters you can always work at a nursing home, skilled nursing facility. A lot of that is working with the elderly and taking care of them on a daily day to day basis. Another thing is the hospital which is a little more upbeat and you see a lot of different things coming from different angles, it's a lot of fun there. And then your more simple one is just you working at a clinic and that's basically working under a doctor and making sure that he has everything he needs. It's almost more like a secretary job then it is a nursing job as the other two were. Nursing homes they are really rewarding jobs but it can be stressful at times being that it's usually the end of the person's life that you are working with. But can be very rewarding making those people happy and healthy on a day to day basis. A hospital like I said is more up tempo you can be getting a lot of different patients, who won't be staying as long but that can be a lot of fun because you learn a lot of different things about the nursing career. It's a large variety, very nice and clinic jobs are very comfortable. You get the Monday through Friday, get the holidays off, very nice job to get into. I'm Dan Carlson thank you very much."
