Hi, my name is John Niemira, and I'm here in the Salt Lake City campus of Steven Henager College. And I wanted to talk to you today about marketing a real estate company. First thing in marketing real estate companies, develop a plan. Know who your potential customers are. And how are you going to go after those customers. A couple of different modes of addressing your customers. First you may want to go online to develop a website, use some of the search engines, advertise your business that way. Secondly you may want to use a more advanced mode, maybe even a more expensive mode with radio, newspaper, television, yellow pages, billboards, that sort of thing. It can be expensive but depending on your budget. Thirdly would be the personal touch. It's getting out there and visiting clients, getting out there and visiting people out of houses for sale. Go online and see who is selling their houses. Send some emails. Visit some people. Visit some conventions, some larger groups, hand out your cards. Use fliers in the community and community organizational groups Try first those approaches and I think you'll have some good luck with it.
