"Hi my name is John Niemira and I'm here in the Salt Lake City campus of Steven Henager College. I want to talk to you briefly today about marketing a nonprofit organization. Marketing for a nonprofit organization, first you want to develop a marketing plan of course, something you can work from. Secondly you want to find your customer base. Who is it you are going to provide this product or service to? Be thorough, do your research, find out where you are going with this product and who the product is going to. Next you want to develop different modes for the marketing. Now you are going to use media such as television, newspapers, yellow pages, flyers, that sort of mode. Of course that way can be expensive. Next you are going to develop yourself a line. Develop yourself a website, get on to some search engines. Develop some banners there. There are also a lot of free websites that you can use that will help you with the promotion of that. Then get involved in your community with a nonprofit organization your community base is the best way to go. You personally get out there and visit. A lot of people in companies want to help nonprofits so take advantage of that fact with your business. For any more information on this topic or any other business topic you can contact me directly at my e-mail jniemira@gmail.com."
