Hi, my name is John Niemira, and I'm here at the Salt Lake City campus of Steven Henager College. And I wanted to talk to you today about writing a marketing plan. What is included in the writing of a marketing plan. What you need to do is start off with your objectives. Who you will be marketing to, who is your target audience, who is the people that will be buying your product, your service. That would be need to be in detail. How you will approach them and which mode will you use to get to your audience to get where they live, will you use a television, will you use radio, billboards, newspapers, or the yellow pages, or all of above. Another thing that you would want to consider is how - who will you use online, what will you use for modes online, will you advertise with your own website which is highly recommended. Will you advertise through major search engines, which is also recommend. And there are many free websites out there where you could advertise your businesses also. And then there's the personal aspect of writing it, who are you going to contact in your community. All these need to be detailed in your plan, in writing, with timelines and who will accomplish these tasks for you.
