"Hi, my name is John Niemira and I'm here at Steven Henager College in Salt Lake City. I'm an instructor here. I want to talk to you a little bit about obtaining a business license. For any type of business that you are going to open, you of course have to register your business with the County Licensing Department. Each County has its own department; in your, online or in your yellow pages, you can find your local business office; your licensing office. It's the same place where you acquire a marriage license, a business license and several other licenses. Go down and ask the person at the desk, tell them that you're opening a business. You would need to do the application and the fee for it. The fee varies in your County. Get your application. Be would be very, very careful with the process of filling it out. Make sure all your data is accurate; including address, phone numbers, business name and all the information they ask on there. In this part of the business process, you probably don't need to have your attorney involve in it yet. Later down the line when you decide on which way your business to go with, you will need your attorney. But visit your local County office, they will get you your application and get you on your way in your new business. For anymore information on this topic or any other business topic, you can contact me directly at my email jniemira@gmail.com"
