How to Become a Soccer Coach

"Hey how's it going my name is Billy Castro ex pro and now soccer coach for nearly ten years. I'm going to talk to you a little bit about how to become a good soccer coach. First you know as a beginner if you want to go out there obviously you have to love the game. You have to have a passion for this game to coach so if you have any interest in doing those things, obviously there are different steps. You can get licensed, but the first thing you should do is probably go see a recreational center in your area. Go find out what their youth soccer is all about and go work with some of the kids. Age groups, all sorts of age groups from you know three years old all the way up to eighteen now a days. Check it out make sure that you are able to communicate with the youth. There's boys and girls soccer. Some people are better with boys some people are better with girls. Just try out a few different things. At that point you start understanding the more knowledge that you have if you really want to become not only a good soccer coach you have to take the classes, the education again. You want to get licensed. There's different class licenses, the E class, D and all the way up to the A class which then you would become a world class soccer coach for the U.S.A. team. So if that's what you want to do go out there and do it. The steps are real simple you just go on to the internet and go in and say I want to be a licensed soccer coach and it will take you to the websites.
