You have found yourself like many other Americans in this declining economy with more debt than your ability to pay, and one of your specific debts that you're worrying about is credit cards. And you don't know whether or not you should file bankruptcy or you should try to address this credit cards without filing bankruptcy. Hello, I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer the question how to pay your credit cards without filing bankruptcy. Obviously one of the first things you may want to do if you have no ability to do this yourself is to consider consulting a financial advisor. There are many of this profession listed in the yellow pages of your local phone book and there are also a number of financial advisors listed on the internet. And basically the idea is you determine how much you have in the way of credit card debt with respect to each credit card company and you attempt to consolidate that debt and either obtain a loan to pay off that consolidated credit card debt or try to work with an individual credit card company or a combination of individual credit card companies that will pay off your other credit card debt and then allow you to make lesser payments to them. But it's probably best to consult a professional that does this on a regular basis to make sure that you can do this. I'm Robert Todd, and thank you for watching.
