You have fallen behind on your mortgage payments and first you were late and now you are behind and the months are accumulating and you have received notification that your lender intends to institute mortgage foreclosure immediately. Hello I'm Robert Todd and I am here to answer the question how to stop mortgage foreclosure proceedings immediately. Well obviously the best way to stop foreclosure is to pay the back mortgage payments with interest and if attorneys fees and costs have been incurred by the lender you will have to pay those as well. Failing that and generally most people upon who mortgage foreclosure proceedings have been instituted aren't in a position to do that, the next best thing to do is to contact the mortgage lender directly and see if you can renegotiate the terms and conditions of your mortgage such as lowering the interest rate, extending the terms or payment, and basically bringing down the monthly mortgage payment. Failing that an alternative is to contact an alternative conventional mortgage lender and refinance. Again your current mortgage lender doesn't care how you pay it they just want it paid. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching.
