What is a small-batch bourbon whiskey? Well a small-batch bourbon whiskey is whiskey that they select from several different barrels. So I suppose what you're doing is you're taking the best whiskey from the best barrels of your bourbon. And this is always charred-oak barrels. And you're combining them and blending them into one bottle. So I guess you could kind of say it's a blended whiskey, I mean technically it's all the same bourbon. Same recipe, same mash, but you're taking the best of your crop and blending into one bottle and hopefully out of that getting some different characteristics and usually small-batch bourbons are on the higher-end of bourbon. So a small-batch bourbon will always say small-batch on it. Here we just have a regular bottle of Jim Beam and nowhere on this does it say small-batch. It always has to be labeled. And that way you'll know what you're getting.
