What are the best bourbon whiskeys? This you know, depending on your tastes may differ. Generally speaking the best bourbon whiskeys are ones that are aged the longest, matured the longest and are made from the best ingredients. So Jim Bean is like the mid-range bourbon and probably the most common mid-range bourbon, is very popular, it's not bad, some of the cheaper ones are Evan Williams, Elijah Craig, these bourbons you know, I find them to be drinkable but they are a lot cheaper. Woodford Reserve is one of the - one of the higher end bourbons - this is one of my favorites. It's the official bourbon of the Kentucky Derby so that says something about it. Other popular ones are Basil Haydens, Bookers, which is a very, very strong bourbon, Knob Creek, there are many very small bourbon distilleries in Kentucky that make great bourbon, but they don't make much of it. It's very rare and a lot of it is hard to find, but you have to go to the store and you know, try them, experiment and see which ones you like the most.
