"Hi I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a Life and Dating Coach and owner of NY Dating Coach here in New York City. In this clip we'll talk about tips on birth control. And there are a lot of options out there for women, but it really helps to do your research and your homework because what works well for one person isn't necessarily going to work well for another person. So of course, there's the oral contraceptives and there's the lighter dose ones or the heavier dose ones. Sometimes the heavier dose ones are better. The lighter dose ones can affect your mood more. And you can have problems with weight gain, and irritability and stuff like that so if the oral ones aren't effective for you there's a Nuva-Ring which is a ring that you put in and you leave. Which can be effective for people. There's a sponge. Same kind of concept. There's and IUD, which they implant and leave in for several months. So there's really a lot of options available to you out there. Ask your doctor and do research and try a few different ones and see what works best for you. This is Donna Barnes from New York City."
