"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a life and dating coach and owner of NY Dating Coach here in New York City. In this clip, we'll talk about how to find a matchmaker and I guess the first thing is to find out who the local ones are in your area. So, you could Google it and see what the local ones are and if they have a website read a little bit about it, but you want to find somebody who you feel like is really going to listen to your needs and what's most important to you, that's really going to hear who might be appealing to you and not try to force on you something that's not appealing to you. Make sure that they're not really in it for the money, that they really do enjoy fixing you up with people. So go and interview people and talk to them a little bit and get a sense of whether you want to work with this person or not. If they seem pushy to you, then they're going to seem pushy to any potential mate that they'll set you up with, so that's probably not a better one. You want somebody who's friendly and appealing and who seems like they have ability to attract lots of people because that's what a matchmaker does. They make it their job to go out and just meet as many people as they possibly can so that they can introduce them to you. And if you want, you could just contact me, Donna Barnes in New York City. I do matchmaking too."
