And romance is really a wonderful thing that will keep your love strong, and sometimes you have to go out of your way a little bit to bring it back. Maybe get a date night. Plan a specific night a week that you get a babysitter if you have kids, and you just go out as if it's your first date. Role play a little bit. Pretend it's your first date. Try to go back to remember how you felt when you first met and really enjoy each other's company just for who each other is. Forget about all the stress that's going on in your life, and really put your attention on each other. If you do have kids, the best gift that you can possibly give them is a good relationship with their other parent. So showing them a loving relationship is really important to their development. So to rekindle that, bring a little bit of affection back. Start holding each other's hands again. Cuddle on the couch when you watch TV. Really go out of your way to touch each other and show each other that you really care and appreciate them. This is Donna Barnes from New York City."
