"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a life and dating coach, and owner of NY Dating Coach here in New York City. In this clip, we'll talk about how to be a good girlfriend, and most importantly, don't be a drama queen. If you get all excitable about things and blame him for things and you're jealous and you're, you know, criticizing him, then you're not going to be a good girlfriend. The best way is to be loving and supportive at all times. If something's upsetting you, come from an "I" statement and what's upsetting you, and it's not about what he's doing, it's about how you feel about it. So and to be a good girlfriend, really, just be supportive. Try to take interest in things that he does and that he likes to do, and share with him the things that you like to do and open his eyes to some new experience. Definitely let him know how much you care about him. Be complimentary -- men like to feel good about themselves, and they like to know that you feel loving towards them and that they're wanted and desired. So if you make him feel loved and special, you'll be a good girlfriend. This is Donna Barnes from New York City."
