"This is financial advisor, Patrick Munro, talking about how to compare credit cards. Credit cards out there nowadays are very, very different in nature. If you have good credit you have more ability to compare credit cards for your benefit, and you can do so by going onto bankrate.com and going to the text under credit cards. And you'll be able to see the top offers that are available nationwide, versus the one you have in your hand. Always go for a zero percent interest if you can, and you have excellent credit. This way, you will pay very little, except for the monthly balance that's on your account. However, there are interest rates on credit cards that are acceptable. Usually, not over ten percent. If you're over ten percent then you should really consider getting your credit score back in line so that you can get the very best credit charge against your account. And the better way of of working with your credit card company is to constantly call them and ask for a better rate. They'll work with you because they want your business. This is Patrick Munro, talking about how to compare credit card rates."
