"This is financial adviser Patrick Munro talking about how to apply for a personal loan. Applying for a personal loan is a way for an individual to put their best face forward. It is important to take your assets and your liabilities and put them on a sheet, fill out the bank information as it is called upon to do in the most thorough way possible, filling in all the blanks, being as detailed as you possibly can, not having any gaps in time, not carrying too much debt, etc., and having a clear purpose for the debt that you are about to take on. In other words almost a business plan if you will. If you are going to be going to the bank make sure you present yourself in a positive way. Make sure you dress accordingly, that you look responsible, you present yourself in a crisp clean way to the bank officer, answer any questions, be polite and arrive on time and don't take up too much of the bank officer's time. All of this is an overall package which should result in a positive outcome. This is Patrick Munro, financial adviser."
