"Getting free credit reports by mail. It is possible to do just that. Why would you do that? It is important to monitor your credit at all times to make sure in this world of identity theft that your identify has not slipped beyond you and someone is using your credit profile. Therefore it is important to send a letter to the three reporting agencies and they are available on the internet and they have addresses to send written correspondence and they will pull your credit based on your social security number. Make sure that you send the letter of request which contains your social security number by registered mail so that you will know that an authorized representative of the credit reporting agency was the one that signed for your letter and not someone else. Shortly you will receive some documents in the mail from the credit reporting agency which shows all your open lines of credit and how you have paid those lines of credit and a credit score relative to that. This is Patrick Munro talking about how to get credit score profiles by the mails."
