"This is financial adviser Patrick Munro talking about good credit cards for a teenager. Teens today need to be credit responsible and their parents of course are directly responsible to pass on that knowledge in a generational context. Teens if they are working they should be responsible for their own credit card bill and pay it in a timely manner. And always be mindful not to extend the credit card to the point of maxing it out. A good credit card for a teenager is one that doesn't have a very large credit line but rather a line of credit that will take care of their day to day expenses. That is to say perhaps for fast food on a school campus, if they want to go off campus for lunch, cost for gasoline in their automobile and sometimes for clothes or school supplies. Normally something in the area of a thousand dollars will be just sufficient to do that. The parents should also look at the credit card statements when they come in and make sure that their teenager gives them a reporting of how they are monitoring this credit card. This is Patrick Munro talking about the best credit cards used for teenagers."
