Question is can you turn off Internet functionality on your PSP? Yeah, it's very easy to do, but first of all let's talk how, about how you would turn it on. First of all, you want to be on the network settings menu. That's where all your network functions are going to be. Then, you'll get a choice between ad hoc mode which is a connection between two PSP's, and infa infrastructure mode, which is where your Internet functions are going to be. Go ahead; select infrastructure mode. You'll get a list of your existing connections. In this case, I've I've got a network already on there showing. Go ahead, hit the X button, select that and then you'll get another series of options. I go ahead and I hit scan, and that will scan for available nearby Wi-Fi connections; it'll bring up a list. I always try to look for open connections to surf on, especially if I am in a public place like a coffee shop or something like that, and I go ahead and hit okay. PSP will go ahead and try to attach to that connection. The PSP will find the Internet connection over Wi-Fi. Log on, and you'll be able to surf the Internet in no time. Now, that's how you go ahead and turn on your connection. How do you turn it off? Well, this is a lot simpler. There's a WLAN switch, wireless lan. Take that and slide it off. You've turned off the Internet on your PSP. You're ready to get on that plane, and you're not going to bring it down because you screwed up with the pilot's instruments.
