"Hi, I'm Noah and today we're going to learn how you can watch TV on your computer or laptop. Basically you will find that there are a lot of different services that allow you to do this; some of them for free and some of them you have to pay for. But the point is, that this is really a great advance for us computer users because we can now watch TV from our computer no matter where we are in the world as long as we have an Internet connection. So if you're having coffee at Starbucks for example and you don't want to miss your favorite TV show, you can just pull out your laptop and watch it on the Internet. First if you want to watch TV on your PC, make sure you're connected to the Internet. Then you can start by checking websites like www.itv.com where you'll find a list of channels that you'll be able to play. Here you can also browse by location on the left hand side bar. Finally, Google search for Internet TV will turn up lots of different kinds of results. Another good website to check out is www.joost.com, spelled j-o-o-s-t. Here you'll be able to watch all kinds of shows like Friends or the Daily Show to name a few. Another similar website is http://brightcove.tv/. Here you'll also have a kind of similar service where you'll be able to watch a few TV shows and other films. You can browse this by type, for example news or funny or music or whatever you're interested in."
