"Hi everyone, my name is Dave Casuto from San Fransisco Computer Tutors. And in this exercise, we're going to show you how to remove font tags. Unwanted font tags within Dreamweaver. Using the tag instructor. So that could be very beneficial for you. So make your page load up faster. Get rid off any errors that are happening for the user. So you see that will be very beneficial for you. O.k., so there might some time, so you're going to want to clean up your font tags. Meaning that you know, maybe sometimes the coding that you creating. Might not be up to snuff. So HTML has, excuse me, Dreamweaver has a nice feature within it. That will allow you to basically clean it up. And and look for broken tags. And you know, maybe a bracket. That's just kind of, left behind. Things like that, which will be good for your pages. Because sometimes, your pages might have a stray bracket sitting there. Or maybe it will load up a little slow. Because you've got extra code in there. Things like that. So it's a pretty simple process. Come up to commands. And then clean up XHTML. And then this window comes up. And it's asking you, o.k.. What do you want to do? After you remove, excuse me. Remove empty container tags. And then you have these different options here. Let's say there is bold but there is nothing in between it. And then your H1 tag, where there is nothing there. It actually did so. You've taken out the contents. But you haven't taken out the tags. And then you have all these other options here. So you can continue on with these. So let's say there are some comments in there. That someone else has put in. You can take those out, as well. So I'm just going to go ahead and click o.k. At this point. Take their word for it. You can also, by the way, change specific tags. You can remove them, as well. Alright, so let's go ahead and click o.k. And then, it says that everything is fixed. I guess, everything is o.k. And then, you're done. So that's about i, it's as easy as that. So that concludes our exercise on removing font tags using Dreamweaver. Hope you enjoyed that and also the benefit of that. Once again, my name is David Casuto from San Fransisco Computer Tutors. And you can contact me anytime. I have a page up on Yelp.com under San Fransisco Computer Tutors. And feel free to give me jingle anytime you like."
