"Hi my name is Dave Casuto and I'm from San Francisco Computer Tutors and in this tutorial I am going to show you how to back up your site in Dreamweaver. Backing up your site is going to be essential for protection reasons and for making sure your site is backed up in case anything happens so I am going to show you how to do that in a few easy steps. So you want to make sure to have your files panel open and once you see that you are in your files panel make sure that you have your files tab open and then what you want to do is you want to go to manage sites. So you have all the different sites that you are working with here and make sure that your site is selected. I only have one site that I am working with and what you are going to want to do is click on export. O'kay you're exporting it out and then you are going to find the folder that you are going to back it up in. So you are going to back it up outside of the folder that you are working with and click on backup Story Street and then you are going to click on save and then you are going to click on done so it is as easy as that the first step. So basically everything that is inside your website, all the things that are now inside this my Story Street one for example has now been backed up. But it is backed up as an STE File so what you need to do is actually literally take all of the files that are in your Story Street or that are in your main root folder and basically copy and paste them and then bring them into that back up so you see here I have my Story Street here and then I can just copy and paste them into my back up. So see you have my backup Story Street and then here is the thing that I have saved here, my STE file and I am going to paste my items in there and now they are officially backed up with the STE file. So the STE file has all the site information as well like my log in information all kinds of other tags and stuff like that in there so that is very important to do that first and then you can copy and paste it in there so it is as easy as that. Good luck. So that concludes our tutorial on how to back up your Dreamweaver site. You see how easy that was and definitely how essentially that is. Once again I am David Casuto and thank you very much. You can check out my company at San Francisco Computer Tutors on yelp.com. Go ahead and just type that in and give me a ring any time. Thanks."
