"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes, I'm a life and dating coach and owner of NY Dating Coach in New York City. In this clip we'll talk about does online dating really work, and the answer is yes. I know so many people who have met the loves of their lives and are married and happily ever after all on the web. And the reason I think that that is is because when you meet somebody out and about, you only go on attraction, of whether you're attracted to them. But you don't know anything at all about whether you're compatible. When you meet somebody online you can go by attraction, you can look at their picture, but then you can read stuff about them, and you can find out how old they are, where they live, whether they've ever been married, whether they want kids, what do they do. You can't walk up to somebody and fire off all those questions. So by the time you actually meet somebody from online, you already know that you're pretty much compatible at least on paper. And then it's just a matter of are you attracted to each other or not. So if you are attracted to each other you're starting from a much better place than someone that it's only attraction. So I highly recommend internet dating. It's a wonderful way to find a perfectly compatible mate. This is Donna Barnes in New York City."
