"Hi, my name's Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to enable cookies. Let's go to the computer and open up our web browser by clicking on the start button and just open up Internet Explorer. Now we're going to enable cookies in Internet Explorer. On most new PCs they come enabled by default, but I'm going to show you the options that you have to enable and disable them. In Internet Explorer go to tools and then find internet options. Now inside the internet options screens we want to go to the privacy tab. As you can see by default it's come on the medium setting which will block third party cookies that don't have a privacy policy and basically third party cookies are cookies from another website other than the website that you're viewing. You can move this slider and if you go all the way down to the lowest it's going to accept any cookie that you come across. That's basically enabling all types of cookies, but it's typically a good idea to leave that privacy setting for cookies on the medium setting. If you wanted to deny all cookies you'd scroll this up the top and all cookies would be completely blocked and would not be allowed whatsoever. But, if you're on the medium or the medium high area your cookies are enabled and you can accept valid cookies from websites. My name's Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to enable cookies."
