"In this segment we'll talk about how to setup your DSL modem. When you receive the package from your DSL company, you'll have software and you'll have some hardware components. What you want to do is setup your DSL modem by plugging in your standard phone jack from the wall into the DSL modem; then you're able to connect your DSL modem to your computer. It's going to involve installing some software and you just basically follow through that, the props and that will configure your computer. What other piece of hardware that you may need; if you have a lot of line noise from your telephone that interferes with the Internet and vice-versa, you can use a filter. This will then cut down on that line noise and you won't have that problem anymore."
