"This clip we'll briefly discuss connecting two computers with the DSL connection. There's two different options. Again, you can use a wireless connection or you can use a cable connection. The wireless router that's required looks like this. Then this hooks up to your main PC. The other hardware involved is either a wireless card which inserts in to your computer or a USB receiver like this. A USB receiver can be used on a desktop or a laptop. Either one of these devices will send and receive signal from the wireless router. If you have a wire connection this will plug in to your main computer here. And then each computer in turn will actually have a physical connection plugging to one of these ports, which means each computer that you use, has to have a network card in it so that these can connect from the network card in the computer into the router."
