"In this clip we're going to talk about cable modem Internet access. What this requires is that you have a cable modem, like this, provided by your cable modem service. You do have to have a cable modem, in addition to cable modem, you have to have a cable connection through your cable company. So you to physically have co-acts cable coming into your house. You're not required to pay for cable TV service to have cable Internet. The advantage of having cable modem service is, is it's the fastest service currently available for home users. Also, it has nothing to do with the telephone line, so you could, you don't even have to have a telephone or land line in your house. If you just have a cellphone, that's fine. You can still get cable modem service in your home or apartment."
