"OK this segment we'll talk about how you can hookup both a laptop computer and a desktop computer to one monitor. What you need primarily is a switch. And this switch will allow you to do that. It allows you to toggle between both the laptop and the desktop computer so every time you push the button it will switch from the information on one computer or the other. You need two VGA outputs. One goes into the back of the laptop computer and the other one will go into the back of the desktop computer and then you need an additional VGA cable that goes from the splitter to the desktop monitor."
