Follow these guidelines to learn basic JAVA, in the most convenient and effective way for you. Enroll in a JAVA course at your local junior college, or local authority college. These can be relatively inexpensive, and you usually are able to find a good selection of dates and times, at which they take place. Buy a book on JAVA. Try JAVA: An Introduction to Computer Science and Programming, Third Edition, written by Walter Savitch. Go to sun.com/training, and register for one of their courses. They are very extensive and web based. These classes are expensive, but for what you learn from them, they may well be worth it."
