"It's very simple to keep the leather in your car nice and clean and rip free for years if you take care of it. Two part cleaner and conditioners are available at your local auto parts store and they'll keep the leather nice and clean for the life of your vehicle. First part is put a little cleaner on your rag and rub the seat real good with it. Each manufacturer has different directions, follow the manufacturers directions on the back of the bottle. Next step is to condition the leather. It's important to condition the leather after you clean it, it keeps it dry and prevents it from cracking. Pour a little conditioner onto your rag, put it on the seat and rub it around real good. This manufacturer recommends rubbing it and then rubbing it again two hours later. This will keep the leather from cracking to protect it from sun damage."
