"In this video we're going to show you how to properly inflate the tires on your car. To get the specs of what the tires should be inflated to, on most cars the sticker is located on the inside of the door or on the inside of the door jamb. Right here it tells you what your tires should to. For my particular vehicle, the front cold tire pressure is 33. The rear cold tire pressure is 33 also. Since my tires are cold that's what I'm going to inflate them to. The next step is checking your tire pressure. I'm using a gauge that's available at most auto stores for just a couple dollars. Take the valve cover off the tire, put the gauge on. This tire is low, it's at 28 PSI when the manufacturer recommends 33. If you don't have an air compressor at home, you can go to any gas station. Almost all offer service of free air. Fill your tires, check repeatedly until you're at the PSI that's recommended by the manufacturer. In our case, I'm still only at 30 so I need to keep going until I hit 33. There you have it, 33 on the nose. Place the tire valve cap and you're done."
