"Hi, I'm Beth Patterson. I'm a psychotherapist and grief counselor. For this segment, we're going to be talking about how to get over a crush. Having crushes is fun, isn't it? And sometimes it can be pretty painful, especially if the feelings aren't reciprocated or if there's disapproval about the person you have your crush on. So you may have to make a decision to get over that crush. And how do you do that? Well, the one thing is to remember how wonderful you are. Remember your own interests. Don't forget about the things that you're interested in. I know when we have a crush, it's often very tempting just to get involved in that...in the person you have a crush on's interests. So try to maintain your own interests and your own friends, and getting over a crush will be a lot easier if you maintain your friendships and your interests. So I hope that advice has been helpful to you. Best of luck moving forward."
