"Our next clip on the double end bag we're going to be working with a jab, some jab variations and also how defense is included in that part of it. Here to help us with that, Paul. When you're throwing your jab, obviously correct body posture. When you're throwing the jab when you're using the double end bag, when you punch it, you want your hand to come back before the bag comes to you, because then that'll kind of simulate a puncher countering or parrying off you. So it's kind of you're throwing a balanced jab. You can double it up, triple it up. You want to be able to make sure that your feet are always doing what you want. You want to your entire body and body mechanics. Even if you miss a jab or a punch, always follow up with defense. Throwing them instead of just straight, try get to the bag to come around so you have opposing target zones. You can't really work with the body on this particular bag, but you can get the target to move. You can also work on defensive maneuvers like parrying, and you can kind of anticipate it as if he's throwing a jab right after yours. You don't have to stop it, but you can time it. Well that's great. That's the basic jab and then a few variations off it. That's a good start. Thank you."
